Our CORE values

Here at Outreach 3 Way, we asked staff to think about the caring values that are most important to our work.

Each year we hold a Staff Conference - the ideal occasion for reflection.  Following all the ideas that were suggested, we decided to create an acronym.  This, we felt, would make it easy to remember our main values and, in particular, would help new staff.

The difficulty we had was choosing a small enough number of values since, apparently, the human brain can only remember a maximum of seven items on a list!

Commitment to opportunity, respect and equality

We decided on the acronym CORE which stands for Commitment to Opportunity, Respect and Equality - the values that lie at the heart of our work with people with learning disabilities. Our design partners HH Design in Crawley came up with the colourful, appealing CORE logo, which reflects the overall Outreach 3 Way identity.
