Our integrated care unit supports 12 people with complex needs. ICU offers a safe and stimulating environment in which each person can develop to their full.
Staffing levels within the unit reflect the support necessary to carry out personal care and can provide specific activities to individuals. A regular timetable is available and includes activities such as sensory cooking, relaxation (in the sensory room), hand and foot massage, parachute (music movement) sessions and dramatherapy. Staff also support service users to integrate into the main day centre and community programmes with activities such as horse riding and art.
