 Success feels great!

All sport activities take place at local venues and facilities and some run in partnership with other day service providers, giving service users the opportunity to build new friendships.

Team sports

A full program of team sports is offered throughout the year. Football is the main activity, while other games such as basketball, cricket, target ball and hockey also help to emphasise team play.

Racquet sports

We offer the chance to try table tennis, short and long tennis, badminton and racquetball (a type of squash) are played. The emphasis is on enjoyment, through coaching and encouragement.

Yoga

Gentle stretching excercises promote increased flexibility and co-ordination, along with a greater sense of peace or lightness. Yoga classes include gentle asana (posture), breathing and relaxation techniques. Mats, blankets, blocks, belts, duvets and pillows are used for maximum comfort and support. For those with limited movement, the instructor and staff will gently move the student through the positions and exercises, bringing a greater awareness of the entire body.
