Finalists representing care organisations from across
West Sussex attended the ceremony at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Arundel.
The judges commented, “This is an excellent example of where an organisation has taken a proactive approach to workforce development. Development opportunities are focussed on improving the lives of service users and demonstrate how they have used a person-centred approach in achieving this.”
Head of HR Training and Development Simon Livesley adds, “Social care work is about positive life experiences for our customers. The way we achieve those experiences is through our employees, and that is why we believe that a trained and informed workforce is fundamental to our work.”
